Pendular Studio

Pendular Studio is a collaborative fine art practice founded by partners Miles Rice and Kerstin Rice. The name evokes the gentle swing of a pendulum — a quiet symbol of dynamic balance and harmonious interplay between contrasting yet complementary creative worlds.
Miles Rice brings masterful high-end furniture making turned to sculpture. His work is grounded in expert carpentry and woodworking traditions, yielding precise, high-end forms that honour material integrity while exploring bold sculptural presence.
Kerstin Rice, a classically trained printmaker and art scholar, draws from deep university studies in fine arts. Her layered works translate historical research, theory, and technique into contemporary visual narratives of conceptual depth and resonance.
Together, they fuse Miles's tactile, three-dimensional command of wood and form with Kerstin's two-dimensional expertise in printmaking and scholarly insight. The result is an interdisciplinary body of work: balanced objects that bridge sculpture and graphic art, timeless in craftsmanship yet unmistakably of the present.
Pendular Studio's creations stand apart through exceptional skill, intellectual rigor, and a deliberate distance from fleeting trends — for collectors who seek bold, thoughtful contemporary art of lasting elegance.
